Beaver Builder Highlights of Year 2022

Wow! I can’t believe another year has passed. It feels like yesterday when I wrote about 2021 year in review.

Time flies by when you’re having fun! These past 12 months have been busy here at Beaver Builder. I can’t wait to share with you some of the highlights of 2022.

I know you’re excited so let’s get to it…

Beaver Builder version 2.6

While we had many updates throughout the year to all our products BB 2.6 had a lot of new features to mention.

You can learn about all the details in our blog post “What’s New in Beaver Builder 2.6” where we talk about the following features and improvements:

• Search Bar in the Saved Tab

We’re already hard at work on version 2.7 and we can’t wait to release it to you soon. We’re always looking for Beta testers so if you’re interested please reach out to our team.

WordCamp and Community Events

One of the things that make Beaver Builder and WordPress so great is the community! I forgot how much I enjoyed going to conferences and events to meet other WordPress users.

Being around like-minded people is so fun… we can geek out on WordPress, marketing, business, and even other random things like sports, video games, travel, etc.

One event I missed out on but Robby was able to attend was CaboPress hosted by Chris Lema.

Attending WordCamp US was a blast and we’re excited to keep the conference train going in 2023 with WCPHX being first on our list. Tickets just opened up so we hope to see you there.

This year, we plan to have many of our founders and team members in attendance. Come say hi to Billy, Justin, Robby, Jennifer, Kathryn, Brent, Brian, and myself.

We’re also planning to sponsor and have a booth so be sure to stop by and say “Hi” 👋.

Course Platform

Last year, we wanted to provide more helpful video resources for our BB users. With the help of Leah, we now offer 7 Free courses for you on our Beaver Builder Course Platform.

Our community has found it useful to get up to speed with all our products and some have even shared it with their clients so that it helps them learn how to manage their sites.

Ultimate Pricing Package

Throughout the year we did a lot of A/B Testing and Split Testing on our site. Some experiments worked while others didn’t do so well. One of the tests we wanted to try was to offer a new pricing package.

We received feedback from users that they wanted one package that would include all of our products bundled into one. Hence, the Ultimate plan was born!

The Ultimate Plan Includes:

We had fun brainstorming on a name as we tried to think of a word that means the best of the best like Platinum, Diamond, Executive, etc.

Ultimately we came up with “Ultimate” 🥁😉… you like what I did there? I know corny Dad-joke, Billy would be proud.

Website Updates

A website is never finished as I’m sure you all know. We’re constantly tweaking our site to make it better and our Blog page and blog post layout needed a revamp.

We thought to ourselves… “how can we make this a better experience for our users?”  

Not only did it need to be more visually up-to-date, but we added some things to make it easier for you to find what you’re looking for.

We included the following:

• Featured Post area
• Search Bar
• Drop Down Filter
• Community Pages (Facebook, Slack, Forum)

This is just an example that we are committed to making constant improvements in our business and products which I think is a reason why we’re still running 9 years strong. 💪

Wrapping Up

Thank you for taking the time to go down memory lane with me for the year 2022. It’s always nice to reflect on all the hard work that goes on throughout the year.
