Customer Spotlight: Match Branding

Today, we will be visiting with Mike McKearin of Match Branding. Being one of our earliest customers, Mike has been building some really amazing looking sites including his own with our products! We'll be focusing on his personal site in this post, Match Branding, a truly beautiful example of what can be accomplished with Beaver Builder

Q: Who are you, what company do you work for and what is your background in the website design/development industry?

A: My name is Mike McKearin, I am the president of Match Branding. I've been in the web design/development field for over a decade now focusing mainly on frontend design and development.

Q: Tell us a bit more about Match Branding. What product/services do Match Branding provide?

A: Match Branding a creative branding agency that defines, designs and delivers compelling brand experiences to professionals looking to build their business into a brand. We help our clients clearly communicate their brand across all marketing efforts.

Q: Why did you choose the Automator theme and Page Builder plugin for this project?

A: I originally set out to build my own version of what Page Builder is for my company to use internally. Once I found the Automator theme and Page Builder I began using it as a starting point for most all my projects. The site handles just about anything I can throw at it and makes implementation extremely fast. This lets us focus on the brand message and less on coding each project.

Q: How did the Automator theme or Page Builder plugin help you accomplish your goals with the new website?

A: By providing just enough structure but leaving room for us to do what we need to from a coding and design standpoint, the page builder gives us a solid tool as a base to build beautiful brand experiences. Spending time on the brand and less time on implementation allows for rapid growth in this digital environment.

Q: Has using the Automator theme or Page Builder plugin improved any metrics for Match Branding?

A: Probably…. 😛

Q: What are your favorite things about using our products?

A: The simplicity of the products. The Automator theme and Page Builder plugin are not bloated with features that would get in the way most of the time like other page builders. It's like when you need a tool, say a hammer. You don't need the hammer to be a screw driver, a ruler, a knife and a level. You simply need a hammer. These tools are powerful and suited just right for building beautiful websites.

Q: Do you have any suggestions for FastLine Themes? Anything you would like to see in the future that would be useful?

A: One very tactical thought and one overarching thought. First, I would like to see the CSS that is added through the editor compiled and directly added to the stylesheet. I've noticed that I use that to allow for even faster implementation. Second, I hope you guys continue to keep this as a streamlined tool and leave out trendy widgets and whatnots which end up making these kinds of tools bloated and useless to designers.

Q: If you could be any superhero for a day, who would it be and why?

A: I would have to say spiderman. He's simply a badass.
